Started working on a new beat which is very doom inspired. Slow filtered out drums courtesy of the Go-Go's. I am still waiting on a compressor to play bass through. Right now Sun Ra's Magic City is making me feel really tense.

I will be helping to curate some noise/free jazz shows at the OUTPOST hopefully starting later this month. I figured out what I will be doing for my set. I have a turntable set up with a record. Said record has been modified a bit with new grooves carved out by an exacto knife, some stickers (in the same fashion as turntablists use for beat juggling routines), various liquids, and heat treatment. The turntable is plugged into mixer and then into an amplifier via effects pedals daisychain. While this is happening, I will have an exacto knife attached to a contact mic which will then be used to cut into the vinyl as it is spinning to emit a howling sound. The contact mic issue is still pending but everything else is on deck. I think I'll ask chard to play his slide guitar through a practice amp. Photos coming soon. And cassette release hopefully.

Four track. Yamaha MT100 4-track was purchased for fifty dollars. This is a nifty four track from what I've heard. More reliable than the 100 Tascam and Fostex models that are well known.
